Dr. Aviles' s work experience includes five years of direct practice in mental health and three years as a career counselor. He is a consultant for employee assistance programs in two areas: team building, using the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator, and stress management and burnout. He teaches Research Methods and Dynamics of Poverty.
