Louis A. Colca

M.S.W., 1972, SUNY at Buffalo  

Professor Colca joined the faculty in 1977. His experience includes working with families, foster care services, residential treatment services, school social work, and developing and implementing training programs and workshops for foster youth, foster parents, social workers, and supervisors. He has published articles on foster care services, group work, delinquent youth, and social work education.  Currently, he is vice president of the Board of Directors at Chestnut Rose Adventures and Blessing Creating Smiles.  He is also actively involved with several public and private not-for-profit agencies in developing and implementing Independent Living programs for older foster youth.
