Dr. Huddleston-Mattai has earned a B.S. degree from Tennessee State University, and an M.S.W. from Atlanta University.  Her background experience includes medical social work, school social work, and adolescent and family therapy. She has published in the Journal of Black Studies, Race, Gender, and Class, and The Journal of Progressive Human Services.  Dr. Huddleston-Mattai is involved in the community, serving on the board of directors for Transitional Services and the Quality Assurance Board of Amak Home Health Care Agency in the role of vice president.  She is also president of the Board of Elders at the New Mt. Ararat Temple of Prayer.
