Amanda Casali grew up in Buffalo, NY where she was a theater major at the Buffalo Academy for Visual and Performing Arts High School. After high school, Amanda enrolled at Niagara University where she graduated with a double major in Psychology and Sociology and a minor in Social Sciences. She then attended Buffalo State College and in May 2008 received her Master of Science in Student Personnel Administration. While at Buffalo State, she was Vice Chair of the 12th Annual Student Affairs Professional Conference and awarded the SUNY Diversity Fellowship.
Amanda is now an Admissions Advisor in Undergraduate Admissions at the University at Buffalo. She has held various positions in higher education including Graduate Assistant in the Student Involvement Center at Medaille College, Graduate Intern for International Student Affairs Office at Buffalo State College and a Graduate Intern for the Intercultural and Diversity Center at UB.
