Beyond the Classroom
Speech-Language Pathology students enjoy a wide-range of research, leadership, and professional development opportunities and opportunities for rewarding careers in various settings, including hospitals, schools, clinics, long-term-care facilities, and private practices.
Student Organizations
In addition to membership opportunities with the Buffalo State College chapter of the National Student Speech-Language-Hearing Association (NSSLHA), students participate in workshops, lectures, meetings, and conventions outside of the classroom.
After Graduation
Our graduates work as speech-language pathologists in various settings, including hospitals, schools, clinics, and long-term-care facilities or open private practices. The Speech-Language Pathology Department provides resources and advisement for professional placement of its students.
