The faculty of the Speech-Language Pathology Department has a long tradition of excellence. All faculty members hold the Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) awarded by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association and the New York State License in Speech-Language Pathology or Audiology.
All faculty members engage in teaching as a major responsibility. In addition, faculty members have written and contributed to textbooks and professional journals about language development, voice disorders, diagnosis and intervention techniques, speech science, stuttering, early intervention, early intervention school speech-language programs, and language and aging.
