AFP 2014: Change Through Stories (September 8-10) is the Anne Frank Project's sixth annual conference. AFP 2014 is a laboratory and a meeting place for all disciplines to tell stories that inspire change, engage people in the lessons of those stories, and provide tools and vocabulary that encourage people to change their world.
We have an incredible line-up of performances, workshops, and art exhibits. All AFP events are free and open to the public.

Rise of the National Style Guitar Festival: Roundtable Forum and Symposium
Time: 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.
Location: Rockwell Hall Louis P. Ciminelli Recital Hall
This roundtable forum and symposium will be a group discussion with a mediator. The mediator will present questions that are relevant to the issues regarding the inclusion of nationalist music and how historical influences play a role in the continuing creation of new art forms. The last 30 minutes will be dedicated to a question and answer from the audience where attendees can address the panel with individual questions that they may have about subjects covered during the roundtable.

Rise of the National Style Guitar Festival Concert: Nicholas Goluses and The Alonso Drummond Duo
Time: 7:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
Location: Louis P. Ciminelli Recital Hall
This concert given by Nicholas Goluses & The Alonso Drummond Duo will showcase a diverse programing of arrangements and compositions from many different genres. The selection of repertoire will represent some of the most popular guitar music from Spain, Cuba, Germany, France, Brazil, and Mexico to name a few. There will be a reception with free food and drink starting at 7:00 p.m. outside the Louis P. Ciminelli Recital Hall.

Beyond Boundaries: Dare to Be Diverse Film Presentation: 'The Homestretch'
Time: 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
Location: Burchfield Penney Art Center
Please join us for a screening of The Homestretch, a 2014 documentary about homeless teens in Chicago. The film, the first in an exciting year-long film screening and discussion series, "Beyond Boundaries, Dare to Be Diverse," will be followed by a discussion with the following panelists:
