LEADERSHIP PROGRAMS & STUDENT AWARDS

B.I.L.L.S. Program
Bengals Interested in Leadership, Learning and Service.

Turn in your B.I.L.L.S. for your chance to win REAL Prizes!

HOW IT WORKS: FOR STUDENTS
STUDENTS WILL LOOK for sponsored event via the Bengal Guide Magazine.  You can pick up your copy in the Student Life Office, located in the Student Union, room 400.  LEARN while attending events and activities at Buffalo State College that offer diverse and unique learning experiences outside of our regular curriculum.  Enjoy a sponsored leadership workshop, diversity program or educational class.  EARN BILLS for prizes to be raffled near the end of the fall 2007semester:  Save and redeem Bengal BILLS as a reward for your participation in attending an event.  Participation is the number one way to gain valuable experience and in addition students will have access to great prizes too!

WHY IS STUDENT LIFE DOING THIS?
The B.I.L.L.S. or Bengal's Interested in Leadership, Learning, and Service program was implemented to encourage students to get involved in campus life for an enriching campus experience outside the classroom setting.  This system of redeeming is an incentive for attending leadership workshops, educational programs, participating in diversity workshops and trainings.

HOW IT WORKS:
Look in the Bengal guide for B.I.L.L.S. sponsored events.  Each event will list a point value e.g. 50, 100, 200 or 300 points.  Points earned can be redeemed for prizes or you can choose to enter a prize raffle to be drawn at the end of the semester

WHAT’S IN IT FOR ME?
You will earn points that can be redeemed for prizes in this exciting new program at Buffalo State College.  We will reward you for attending the events listed in the Bengal Guide Magazine e.g. leadership training, athletic events, health awareness seminars and many more diverse experiences.

REDEEMING LOCATION:
Student Life Office, Union Room 400
