What is the Emerging Student Leaders Program?
The Student Life office coordinates The Emerging Student Leaders Program, an interactive and educational leadership program targeting incoming freshmen and transfers. The program focuses on the development of personal leadership skills through workshops and conferences and creates opportunities to make connections with other students, faculty, staff and local community leaders.
Workshops during the Fall 2009 Emerging Student Leaders Program will focus on identity and self-awareness. We have a number of guest presenters scheduled with a variety of hands-on activities to help foster better communication,
leadership, and teamwork skills.
Applying
The application for the Fall 2009 program has passed. Applications for the Spring 2010 program will be available on this page later in the semester.
