The purpose of the Inter Greek Association is to represent, advocate, regulate and promote the cooperation and further the interests and welfare of Fraternity and Sorority life as well as to promote the ideas of brotherhood and sisterhood in the workings of each individual organization.
An additional purpose of the Inter Greek Association is to produce Greek members who are active leaders on campus, role models for other students, are academically successful and engaged in activities that contribute to the positive reputation of the college.
Keeping these purposes in mind, the Inter Greek Association has created a Leadership Empowerment Institute. The purpose of this seminar is to examine campus policy, chapter policy, crush guidelines, prevention, communication, and judicial topics from the perspective of our proud Greek alumni. The goal of this seminar is to show characteristics, traits, and how current undergrads can be successful Greeks both in our Buffalo State community and in the greater Buffalo community.
