The student connect/disconnect season is the highest call volume time in National Grid's Customer Contact Center, by connecting service via their website rather than over the phone students can avoid calling during this peak season and can turn on their gas and electric service on their own schedule/ Students do not incur any additional costs from connecting on the web.
