A Professional Certificate is issued to candidates holding an Initial Certificate and is renewable every five years with evidence of 175 inservice workshop hours.
The requirements for Professional Certification are as follows:
- Applicant must hold an Initial Certificate
- Master's degree
- Three years of teaching experience; one of the three years must be a mentored teaching experience.
- S.A.V.E. seminar
- Completed application on the TEACH website
- Signed Release Authorization Form submitted to the Teacher Certification Office. Please include a copy of your completed seminar.
