TECHNOLOGY DEPARTMENT

The Technology Department accepts student-nominated voting representatives into all departmental standing committees and actively sponsors six student professional clubs. In this way, students can further enhance their educational experience and can make a significant contribution to the educational process.

Each semester, field experiences are offered and several guest lecturers and various demonstrations are presented on campus in an effort to expand student understanding of technology and how it integrates into our society.

There are several ongoing applied research projects students can take part in, including Metal Injection Molding Analysis Using an Iron-Nickel Feedstock; Using Excel for Analysis and Representation of Electromagnetic Calculations; Reducing Absenteeism at AAM Tonawanda Forge;
Computer-Based Training (CBT) for the Credit Approval Relationship Management Program HSBC.
