Careers

After graduation

Thanks to the Theater Department's hands-on, experiential curriculum, our students are prepared to begin careers as professional actors, scriptwriters, designers, producers, and arts managers. Graduates work in regional theaters, on Broadway, and in film and television. Students who attend graduate school have competed successfully for full scholarships at prestigious schools such as the University of Washington, Florida State, UCLA, University of South Carolina, Ohio University, The New School, and Carnegie Mellon.

Recent graduates have worked professionally in the industry from Broadway to regional theater and national tours (The Producers, Urinetown, Stomp) and from primetime network television to nationally released films (HBO, CBS, Warner Brothers).
