*Students who are not majoring in political science may substitute ECO 305 Economic Statistics, MAT 311 Probability and Statistics, SOC 301 Social Statistics, PSY 306 Statistics in Psychological Research.

Students completing a statistics course (minimum grade of C) at either Buffalo State or another institution at the 200-level or above, may submit a course description to the PA minor coordinator along with a formal request for substitution.

** In addition to the above 15 credit hours, students must take a related upper-division course in a department other than political science. This course must be approved by the PA coordinator. The course should relate to the student’s career plans and have relevant public administration, public policy, or management content.
