Geography provides students with a basic foundation of the discipline while allowing them to focus on one of two major geographic subject areas. The physical geography concentration emphasizes the interaction of humans with the natural environment; the human geography emphasizes the understanding of people's economic, social, cultural, political, and urban patterns.
