The music major is a liberal arts program that provides students with the broad knowledge and skills to enjoy a lifetime of music, integrate music into a career, and, in some cases, perform as a vocalist or instrumentalist.

Career Information
Music majors are prepared for careers in performance, composition, music instruction, and music management. Graduates have been accepted for graduate study at institutions such as the Eastman School of Music, New York University, and the Boston Conservatory.
