University College provides oversight for Buffalo State's general education program, which has been revised and will be implemented in fall 2006 under the new name of "Intellectual Foundations." At that time, all first-year students will be required to take a common critical thinking course (BSC 101) and transfer students will be required to take a similar critical thinking course as the upper-division level (BSC 301).
