UNIVERSITY COLLEGE

FOR CURRENT STUDENTS

The International Student Affairs Office offers a variety of services and programs for international students, including academic advisement and personal counseling. In addition, the office assists students in regard to visas, work permits, and regulations of the Immigration and Naturalization Service (INS) and administers English language Competency and Placement exams.

The office also offers a variety of other important student services, including a three-day orientation program provided for new international students at the beginning of each semester; the distribution of numerous informational publications, and coordination of programs such as the American Host Family and International Friendship programs, which pair international students with American families and college students.
