Vaccination Clinics
Buffalo State began offering free H1N1 Influenza virus vaccination clinics for current students on Monday, October 26.
All currently enrolled Buffalo State students will be able to obtain the H1N1 vaccine on Thursday, November 19, 2009 from 2:30 to 6:30 P.M. in the Assembly Hall.
Vaccination is the best way to protect yourself from this potentially serious disease and students are encouraged to get vaccinated--especially those with asthma or other underlying medical conditions. Further information about the H1N1 Epidemic and the vaccine can be found at www.cdc.gov.
Recommendations to Faculty and Students
Those with flu-like illness should stay away from classes and limit interactions with other people except to seek medical care, for at least 24 hours after they no longer have a fever, or signs of a fever, without the use of fever-reducing medicines.
