The Health Promotion Office offers numerous interactive educational workshops on specific health related topics. Topic areas include:

  • Physical Health
  • Risky Behaviors
  • Sexual Health
  • Safety on Campus
  • Do Your Part Buffalo State: Bystander Intervention Program

Please stop by the Health Promotions Office, Porter Hall Lower Level Room 14H, 14A, or 15, for a workshop brochure.

A workshop can take place on campus, in a residence hall, and/or classroom. Workshops may last from 45 minutes to an hour. Workshops can be held anytime between 8:00am and 10:00pm Monday through Friday and between 3:00pm – 10:00pm on Sundays. However, if there is another time you would like, and we are available, we will accommodate you.

Faculty are encouraged to utilize the workshop program in lieu of canceling a class. Workshops are designed to complement your curriculum and enhance the out of classroom learning experience.

Workshops can also be developed into a customized training to meet the specific needs of your department or organization.
